Another one down, a few dozen more to go.

Book 9: A Child Called It by David Pelzer
I've read bits and pieces of this book, but never the whole thing and I needed a pick-me-up after reading it. It is interesting that he's willing to share what happened in his life and if you are to believe everything that he says, there are some atrocities that have happened. Parts of this book will make your stomach turn and if you've ever worked with kids and you've seen kids like him, then it will make your stomach turn even more.

This book made me believe more firmly that certain people should not be allowed to breed. If you've ever listened to Bill Engvall's bits "Here's your sign", you'll understand partially, but I still believe that certain people should not be allowed to have children.

Pelzer has written other books continuing his story, but I don't think I want to read those just yet. Yes, the way that it is written is very compelling and first person, but with all the junk going on in the world, this is something I don't want to read at the moment. Also, when actually stopping and thinking about it, it seems more like sensationalistic writing than anything. Why did he decide to make it into three books when he could have changed the font size to a smaller one and written everything in one book. It also makes you feel like you are just being taken. He doesn't want to change anything, it feels more like "here's my story now give me your money if you want to hear any more".
