Not sure how I feel about this show

Jakob and Adam are in another play together. This one:

And I'm not sure how I feel about it.  They've been telling me things about the show, but just looking at the "puppets", something doesn't look right.  The puppets don't look finished. And if they are finished, it looks really sloppily put together.  Now, I may be used to marionettes or the Henson puppets, but there is still something off about these ones.  Also hearing some of the stories that Jakob tells of rehearsals, I'm surprised that this show is actually going on.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see it for my final judgement.  Anyone want to go with me?

I'm getting older

But none the wiser.  ;)

My birthday this year went off with very little fanfare (which is exactly what I wanted).  I'm not a big fan of huge birthday celebrations (unless you're a little kid, then birthdays should be fun).  But this year my parents came over and brought pizza (don't remember from where) and yummy desserts from Kneaders then we watched the Woman's basketball game verses Gonzaga (which BYU won easily).

Then on the weekend, a few of my friends that I've known FOREVER came over and helped me celebrate. 

Yes, they even made me wear a "Princess" crown.  (Thanks Court).  Needless to say, I wore it for the photo and then it came off.  It is now hanging in my sewing room.

I'm such a horrible planner that when it came to Christmas gifts, I was really late in giving them over.  So at this little party, they finally came in so I let them pick their present.  Well, it was more of a random drawing.  I gave them all "diseases" or cells of some sort..

They are all the plushy type.  Michael got "MRSA", Jakob the "Plague", Dustin a "Bookworm", Andrea got "Mono", Mira a "White Blood Cell" (and if you look closely and know Doctor Who, they modeled the Adipose babies after white blood cells), Jacob a "Brain Cell", Doug (don't remember), the Twins got "Flesh Eating Virus" and "Stem Cell", Court got "Rabies" and I have "Mad Cow Disease".  They are fun.  Look up "Giant Microbe Plushy" and I think you'll find a better picture.

Court's and Jakob's diseases got into a little "argument".  I still think that The Black Plague would beat out Rabies any day.

Sorry, Court.  I still think Black Plague would win.
