So, here is a recap of the year --------
(1) We ended up buying a house and moved. But before we moved, we had to remodel. And boy, it was a gut job for the kitchen. The house we ended up buying is from the 1960s, and it still had the old green and brown linoleum floor and 60s cabinets in it. Yeah, that was all gutted and replaced with new cabinets. We haven't finished the paint job or the tile work, but it is getting there.
Painting all the walls (because they were a disgusting yellow) made it feel a bit better, but I'm still not happy with the purchase. You would think that I would have found a home that I loved if I was going to put that much money down towards it. I think it'll get there, but I'm not sure if I'll be the one to get it there.
We had to replace almost the entire electrical system 3 days after closing on the house. The former owners had overloaded the circuit breakers and they had started to melt. So, that was an unforeseen expense early on. And the previous owners keep "driving by" to see what we've done to the house. Yep, they aren't happy that we almost had to go to court for them not disclosing the information that the wiring was illegally done.
It's just been rough thinking about everything I spent on something that I'm not happy with. Sometimes I wish homes had a return policy.

I haven't done any film work. J was in a couple episodes of "The Outpost" that shows on the CW, so that was fun playing "spot the J" when the episodes ran.
And that is pretty much it. I'm totally getting boring. We didn't really take any other pictures either. I'll see if I have anything that would seem interesting to post later.
