Okay, so Jakob got into the show that he auditioned for, but he didn't get the part that he wanted. I congratulated him and then said my concerns. I'm happy that he got in but I'm not happy that he is going to travel 45 minutes each way every evening for rehearsals and shows until June for a "bit" part. Here is hoping that someone in the cast will drop out and he'll be up for a bigger and better part. He says that experience is experience and I agree with him, but I'm just not a fan of the long term driving wear-and-tear on the car.
But some good news, he'll have the car paid off in a couple of months. Here's hoping that we can put that money to good use with the other bills and savings. I put myself on a strict budget and I'm beginning to like it like this. I still have wiggle room to play, but I am right where I need to be with the bills and savings and still being able to have some fun.
But we're all doing good. The cats attacked a bag of my fiber-fill while we were gone the other day and when we came back there was stuffing everywhere! I'm going to see if I can upload the video I have of when we came back home. They tried to act all cute (which they are) but it was just funny to see how much destruction they did on that bag. I'm still finding pieces of the filler when I move things around. Now when I pull it out of the closet they get all excited like they get to play again. It is really cute but annoying at the same time.

Ah, that's a bummer.
Hehe, that's funny about the cats. Animals have a good way of acting/looking innocent.
