Alright, they just announced that Disney will be going on with HSM4, slated to be released on Disney channel in 2010. The premise of this installment is a new cast of characters and it sounds a bit like Romeo and Juliet: "the plot will follow a love story and the cross-town rivalry between the East High Wildcats and the West High Knights." Sound at all remotely familiar? Yeah, they are just playing around with the whole East/West rivalry that already exists in Salt Lake. Uggg.
Will it every stop?
Now, coming from a film point, I will be happy if they decide to continue to film in Utah. It gives the State some revenue that it needs, not to mention all the fans that flock to the State in the chance of seeing one of the stars (and the money that they spend). It also employs a lot of locals, so creating jobs is a good thing in my eyes.
But do you think they could come up with something a bit more original than a remake (in my opinion) of Romeo and Juliet?

You're kidding!?! That's crazy- I was thinking "another one?" when
HSM3 came out... Hmmm... Well, at least it might help the economy.
