Yesterday was a gross air day! I went outside after work to coach the High Jump kids and there was dust and dirt and grime everywhere in the air and the fact that there was a really strong wind didn't help any. I felt all that gunk getting into my ears and under my contacts.
When this type of weather starts happening I have a really hard time breathing and I usually get some sort of sort throat and allergy-like symptoms. I really hate it. But apparently there was a fire in the north that when the winds picked up it blew a lot of that dust and gunk around. Plus all the construction stuff that is going around in the city with vacant lots didn't help much. And it did sprinkle just a bit, but that was really dirty rain and now my car looks like I went off-roading with it.
I'm still having hard time breathing and I feel like trash! Yuck! Well, at least it is now snowing a bit so hopefully it will help to bring some of that gunk out of the air.

Ugh. I agree. I had to use my inhaler this morning and that's unusual. I've had bad allergies lately thanks to the trees, so I'm hoping this all passes soon. I hope you feel better soon!
Well, with the snow this morning, hopefully that helped to clear out the air, but I'm still having problems.
Thanks for the well wishes. I think I might have caught a cold on top of the allergies. A good majority of my students are sniffling, so there are germs flying everywhere!
Yeah, that was pretty nasty weather! I had dirt taste in my mouth all day!
