Snow---------in March

Ugg. So yesterday it started off as a beautiful day. The sun was shining, and it was getting a bit warmer. Usually when I get into work, I don't go back outside until the end of school when I'm either going home or working with the High Jump kids. A few of my students were going out to film something when they came back in 5 minutes later saying it had started to hail. Now, hail in the spring isn't all that uncommon out here, so I didn't think much of it. However, when I went out thinking that I would actually be able to have my students do some jumps today, it was a downpour of slush!

Yep, it had started to snow yesterday, stopped for a few hours in the evening, then picked right back up. It is snowing outside right now and it is the wet, heavy stuff. There was about a foot or so on my car this morning. I thought I was done shoveling snow . . . but apparently not.

And I was beginning to enjoy having some warmer weather.

haha! Crazy! The hail/slush storm today was pretty crazy too. It was like a movie and came barreling at me as I was in the car (at least I was in the car!)

It was weird! I was out setting up for a track meet when it started. Ouch! But at least it let up and there isn't anything on the ground right now.
