He did look great, don't you think?
We got back home really really late and I was so tired that I don't remember even going to bed.
Sunday morning is when this bug really hit me. I had no energy and I was sniffling and sneezing like nothing other. I felt a bit better in the afternoon when we went to my parents for dinner (yum!) but I again zonked out when I got home.
Now Monday morning is here, I have to be at work, and I'm sniffling and sneezing even more. I think on the way home I am going to stop by the pharmacy and pick up something for the symptoms. That way I can deal with everything and still work. I only have a few days worth of substitutes and I need to save those up for emergencies or when I have a conference that I need to go to.
But that brings me to a pet peeve of mine . . . sniffling. I really hate sniffling. The sound and the feeling. I have a few students who are constantly sniffling and it drives me up the wall! I've gone through almost a box of tissues over the weekend because I refuse to sniffle. It just grosses me out and I can't stand it.
Oh well. I guess I'm going to be red nosed for a while. At least until we figure out exactly what this bug is and how to get rid of it. I'm drinking fluids and washing my hands like crazy lately, but I think that I got this from one of my students. I've noticed that when I was in high school I got sick a lot. When I was in college, not so much because I wasn't constantly around the same people. Then when I went to do my student teaching, I got sick again. Now that I'm teaching and I'm in the high school once more, I am sick. I think it has come down to the point that I cannot be in the school system without getting sick.
Today it is supposed to rain and I can hear the thunder from in my office. I want to go outside. I miss listening to thunderstorms. For some odd reason they are really relaxing and comforting to me.

I hope you feel better soon! Being sick and having to go to work is one of those necessary evils. I hope you get some good medicine to get you through it.
I agree with you about thunderstorms! I love listening to them.
Hope you feel better soon. I, too, have the sniffles! Eeek.
